Worried about a Hedgehog?

If you are ever worried about the health or welfare of a hedgehog, please call the British Hedgehog Preservation Society on 01584 890801 and they will be able to give you advice, and put you in touch with a local rescue centre if necessary.

New residents moving in

On Saturday 28th April, we will have five pairs of hedgehogs arriving to take up residence in Glatton’s new hedgehog houses.

Judith from Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (SWCC) will be arriving at the village hall at 13:00.

Judith will review each of the release sites to ensure that they are appropriate and if so will then hand over the hedgehogs.

Welcome to Glatton 🙂

Do we know what the hedgehogs will arrive with? (other than a note saying ‘please look after us Hogs’) Liza Nicholson

When you collect your hedgehog(s) please bring with you a clean pet carrier or strong clean cardboard box lined with newspaper and some scrunched up newspaper for cover to transport home.

Further details can be found in the Release Site Information page in the Information menu.
