If you are ever worried about the health or welfare of a hedgehog, please call the British Hedgehog Preservation Society on 01584 890801 and they will be able to give you advice, and put you in touch with a local rescue centre if necessary.

Single Hedgehog spotted late evening twice in our garden (Mulberry Barn) Monday 16th and Wednesday 18th. Hadn’t realised they could climb steps but clearly they are


Busy Night – 3 hedgehogs visited, 1 fox and this family of Muntjac Deer, who spent 15 minutes with baby having fun and scrumping apples.


Busy night. Wild hedgehog still not welcome and a visit from Bentley the Cat. I have not seen ‘Rex’ for a couple of nights. Hope he’s OK.


I have thought for some time Rex and Rosie may have been joined by a wild hedgehog. The video shows 2 large hogs somewhat wary of each other. Rex is much smaller and he did appear later in the evening.  Read more…
