Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Biodiversity Partnership

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Biodiversity Partnership is formed by a range of organisations: it brings together members from local authorities, statutory environmental agencies and conservation charities.

The Biodiversity Partnership formed in 1996. Since then many organisations have worked successfully together to improve local biodiversity. A set of Biodiversity Action Plans were launched in 2000; they are being reviewed on a regular basis and guide the work that partners are pursuing.

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Biodiversity Partnership have agreed to fund our project over two years (to be reviewed at the end of the first year) which has allowed for the purchase of five deluxe homes, each suitable for a pair of hedgehogs. They have also offered funding to support the purchase of a wildlife camera to track and photograph our new residents.
