Hogs are now eating 2 large bowls of Tesco Kitten food a night!  The two baby hogs regularly share the feeding box. The adult hog is ‘Rosie’ – mother of one of the babies.

Despite the close encounter, the fox quickly gave up and this particular hog stayed feeding for quite a while.  Generally, hogs come and go around 6 times during the night.  Now arriving earlier with the nights lengthening. Always a bit Read more…


A lot of activity during the night with 7 visits in total. This small hedgehog (could it be Wilkie?) spent ages looking around the feeding box before entering and was very wary of the larger hedghog who came along.


I think this might be my original pair of Rex and Rosie, as they do not seem to tolerate wild hogs joining them in the feeding box. (See previous video ‘Not Sharing’ – 8th July 2018).


Busy Night – 3 hedgehogs visited, 1 fox and this family of Muntjac Deer, who spent 15 minutes with baby having fun and scrumping apples.


Busy night. Wild hedgehog still not welcome and a visit from Bentley the Cat. I have not seen ‘Rex’ for a couple of nights. Hope he’s OK.
